Muhle and Mills 5.1

Also known as Morelles, Merrills, Merels, Mill, Morris.

1. Each player has nine stones, which move among the board's twenty-four spots.
2. The goal of the game is to leave the opposing player with fewer than three stones or no legal moves.
3. The game commences with an empty board. Players take turns strategically placing their stones on unoccupied spots. Achieving a row of three stones along a line on the board results in a "mill," permitting the player to eliminate one of their opponent's stones from the board. Stones that have been removed cannot be reintroduced. Once all eighteen stones are placed, players proceed with taking turns making movements.
4. To execute a move, a player must select a stone and then click on an adjacent empty spot. Failure to do so signifies a loss in the game. Like the initial placement phase, aligning three stones along a single line on the board grants the player a mill and the opportunity to eliminate one of their opponent's stones.
5. When a player is left with only three pieces, their pieces gain the ability to jump from any spot to any open spot on the board.
6. A player who is down to two stones loses the ability to eliminate additional opposing stones, resulting in their defeat in the game.
